Flea Market Love...

I went to the Flea Market in Nashville. They have it on the 4th weekend of every month at the fairgrounds. I haven't been in a long time. This weekend was "Extravaganza" weekend! I'm not sure what that means except that there were tons of people there. Seriously, you couldn't stir em with a stick.

I didn't stay too long. I bought a necklace and a top.

There was a lady in her 70's in a bright green shirt with a sign around her neck written in black marker on yellow construction paper that had been laminated... The sign read "FREE HUGS!"

I took one. And it was a goood hug too! Not one of those flimsy, half-hearted hugs you get from people that really don't want to hug you. Or one of those nervous hugs when people pat you on the back really hard like they're trying to burp you like a baby. No, this was a real good warm, squeezing hug that lasted just a wee bit longer than you'd think it should. It felt good... really good. It was how my grandma would've hugged me if I had known her. Yeah, that's it...it was a grandma hug... full of love! This woman is an anointed hugger. I want to hug people like this.

I think I'm going to go back again today to get another hug. Best deal I've ever found at the Flea Market!
